The Forgotten Dead

Blueprint Arts is passionate about engaging local people with local history through the arts and our project 'The Forgotten Dead' highlights a pivotal and tragic part of Gravesend's history.

We are working with local artists to create an art installation commemorating the people lost in the Princess Alice disaster. As part of the Estuary festival our artists are hosting workshops involving the community in the creative process of the sculptures, as they spend time thinking about who these people were and the lives they led.
